Panduit has enhanced its new Pan-Steel solution set to incorporate a state-of-the-art stainless steel cable tie installation tool, the ST3MT.
Panduit has enhanced its new Pan-Steel solution set to incorporate a state-of-the-art stainless steel cable tie installation tool, the ST3MT.
The Panduit ST3MT is a rugged, lightweight and easy to operate plier type tool.
Made from hardened steel, the tool has been designed to dramatically reduce cable tie installation time and help lower installed costs.
It features a tapered nose that facilitates access to the bundle in confined spaces and allows quick side entry of cable ties so they are immediately positioned.
The built-in lever enables a flush cut-off of ties without having to twist, protecting both the bundle from abrasion and the installer from injury.
The manual tension control feature allows users to install at optimum tension for any application.
Weighing just 0.56kg, the ST3MT also helps protect against user fatigue for repetitive use.
The ST3MT is the perfect tool to perform stainless steel cable tie installations quickly, efficiently and safely.
The tool installs the entire range of Pan-Steel metal locking ties, which boast the highest rated loop tensile strength to tie width ratio in the world.
The addition of the ST3MT to the Pan-Steel range means Panduit now offers one of the widest ranges of products for steel applications.
The Pan-Steel product range is designed for long-term use in extreme outdoor, indoor and even buried conditions, allowing exposure to the toughest environmental and hazardous conditions and harsh applications, including oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, power generation, pulp and paper and food and beverage.
