Panduit will launch revolutionary new Stainless-Steel Ball-Locking Ties at PetroTech in Rotterdam, The Netherlands from 25th to 27th May 2004.

Featuring the highest loop tensile strengths, the ties install in as little as one sixth of the time of conventional strapping.

The ties have a wide load-bearing surface for increased safety and rounded edges to prevent injury during installation or maintenance.

The new design incorporates slip-back technology to ensure no sharp edges are exposed during cut-off.

Engineered for the most extreme applications and hazardous environments, the Extra-Heavy and Super-Heavy ties will endure the toughest outdoor, indoor and even buried conditions and carry an estimated outdoor service life of 40 years, ensuring that a greater ROI is achieved.

Also on display to visitors is the latest state-of-the-art stainless-steel cable-tie installation tool from Panduit, the ST3MT.

The ST3MT is a rugged, lightweight and easy to operate pliers-type tool.

Made from hardened steel, the tool has been designed to dramatically reduce cable tie installation time and help lower installed costs.

It features a tapered nose that facilitates access to the bundle in confined spaces and allows quick side entry of cable ties so they are immediately positioned.

The built-in lever enables a flush cut-off of ties, protecting both the bundle from abrasion and the installer from injury.

Weighing just 0.56kg, the ST3MT also helps protect against user fatigue for repetitive use.

Panduit will be on Stand 353 at PetroTech.
