A new catalogue from Papst covers the company's new class of high quality BCI range of motors and accessories.

A new catalogue from Papst covers the company's new class of high quality BCI range of motors and accessories The 20-page brochure gives an overview of the components making up the BCI system including easy to read specifications, mounting and connection details, torque/speed graphs and technical product diagrams

The new range of DC motors are designed to operate with economy and high (75-80%) efficiency in industrial automation, robotics, in mechanical, plant, chemical and medical engineering, in laboratory equipment, in domestic engineering/air conditioning, as well as in textile and printing applications.

Showing versatility, various operating voltages are listed with models ranging from 12 to 60V.

Similarly, operating speeds up to 3600min-1, and nominal output power ratings up to 93W are covered.

Where sufficient quantities are involved, Papst is able to custom design motors for specific applications.

The globally approved BCI motors can be used over a wide speed range, however due to their minimal cogging torque, the motors are very suited to lower speeds and provide exceptionally smooth running characteristics.

High quality precision ball-bearings with long term lubrication and protective covers ensure low wear and increased service life.

Worm, Spur and planetary gearboxes are also detailed providing the complete drive solution.

An optional friction face brake, a magnetic sensor and an encoder complete the brochure that will be useful to those specifying and purchasing FHP (Fractional Horse Power), mechanically commutated DC motors solutions.
