Parker Pneumatic has extended its range of Valvetronic valve island modules with the introduction of new Solstar micro solenoid valves and the PVLC10.

Parker Pneumatic has extended its range of Valvetronic valve island modules with the introduction of two new products: the Solstar micro solenoid valves with 4 mm connection and flows of either 33 Nl/min or 50 Nl/min; and the PVLC10 with G1/4 or (8 mm) connection and with a flow of 1800 Nl/min.

Valvetronic is a global concept and features an innovative 'Plug in' system of electrical connections, enabling electro-pneumatic valves to be speedily assembled into a valve island with transparent automatic addressing of the valves.

Connection of the Valvetronic island to a PLC is possible with a choice of subD25, 19 pin round, or cable gland connectors and reduces the cost of commissioning and maintenance.

Intermediate supply modules enable different pressures to be used and different size valves can be combined in the valve island, whilst keeping continuity of address position.

Additionally, with IP65 protection on all electrical connections, Valvetronic islands can be mounted close to the actuators in an industrial environment.

Included in the Parker Pneumatic Valvetronic range are Interface 2000 and PVL-B10 power valves, available with ASI, Device Net, Interbus S Profibus and Fipio communications modules.
