Upgrade for hydraulic accumulator range

The BAE Series of bladder accumulators is designed for use in industrial and mobile hydraulic system applications operating at up to 330bar.

The BAE Series of bladder accumulators is designed for use in industrial and mobile hydraulic system applications operating at up to 330bar "This type of accumulator offers design engineers many benefits for improvement of overall hydraulic system performance", says Bernd Killing, Parker Hannifin's Product Manager for Accumulator Technology

"They can be used for maintaining constant pressure, absorbing hydraulic shocks, supplementing pumping capacity or making energy reserves available in emergencies".

Designed as a direct replacement for the company's successful type ABE bladder accumulators, the new BAE Series offers improved technology at a competitive price.

All models in the range carry the CE mark and, naturally, meet the European Pressure Directive 97/23/EC.

Bladder accumulators are more tolerant of contamination than other types of accumulator and are suitable for use with low-lubricity fluids.

All pressure-bearing metal parts, such as the accumulator body and the hydraulic connections, are manufactured in materials that can be used at temperatures as low as -40C.

In low-temperature applications, it is only necessary to specify a different bladder material.

Similarly, a change of bladder material is all that is required for use with special fluid media.

The new BAE Series has been developed with close attention to the requirements of customers already using Parker bladder accumulators.

The BAE Series has the same major dimensions as the previously available type ABE models with only a fractional increase in overall height.

This ensures that existing users can easily integrate the new models into their systems without any design changes.

BAE Series accumulators feature BSPP or ISO metric ports and are designed, as standard, for a maximum working pressure of 330bar.

Higher-pressure models are available as an option.

Flow rates range from a maximum of 240 litre/min for the 1-litre BAE01 accumulator up to 900 litre/min for the 50-litre BAE50 accumulator.

A range of eight different volumes ensures an even spread of sizes throughout the range. Request a free brochure from Parker Hannifin ...
