Hydraulic gear pumps hit the streets

An extended range of high performance hydraulic gear pumps is designed to meet the hydraulic power needs of light and medium weight commercial vehicles.

An extended range of high performance hydraulic gear pumps has been introduced by Parker Hannifin, the world's largest manufacturer of motion and control technology, to meet the hydraulic power needs of light and medium weight commercial vehicles The new GP1 and GPA Series gear pumps combine high levels of efficiency with low maintenance, and are lightweight, compact and available in a range of sizes to suit most applications in on- and off-road vehicles and mobile plant

Exceptional build quality means that both series are suited to a variety of tasks, including both heavier, intermittent jobs, such as powering skip loaders, and light and medium duty applications in towing, road sweeping and roadside rescue.

The smaller GPA series is available in four pump sizes, featuring tough yet lightweight extruded aluminium housings, while the seven size options in the larger GP1 series pumps have robust, compact cast iron housings for maximum strength.

The new pumps are bidirectional, have three or four bolt fitting configurations and a dual port layout enabling them to be installed easily, as either rear- or side-mounted units.

Both series are quiet in operation yet high-revving in use, thereby reducing noise emissions as well as sensitivity to over-speeding.

Parker Hannifin can also supply a range of piston and vane pumps for heavy duty applications in commercial and military vehicles. Request a free brochure from Parker Hannifin ...
