Hydraulic, fluid connector, pneumatic and filtration products set to appear at this year's Commercial Vehicle Show on stand 2149, from 25th to 27th April at Birmingham's NEC.

Parker will be exhibiting a range of hydraulic, fluid connector, pneumatic and filtration products at this year's Commercial Vehicle Show (stand 2149, NEC, 25th to 27th April) Designed to reduce service and maintenance time and cost of ownership, Parker's products provide reliability and performance, especially where space is tight, with worldwide availability and technical support, important considerations for vehicle manufacturers and body builders, fleet operators and maintenance and service contractors

On show will be hydraulic gear pumps for light and medium weight commercial vehicles.

The GP1 and GPA gear pumps combine high levels of efficiency with low maintenance, and are lightweight, compact and available in sizes to suit most applications in on and offroad vehicles and mobile plant.

The build quality makes them suitable for tasks including heavier and intermittent jobs, such as powering skip loaders, as well as light and medium duty applications in towing, road sweeping and roadside rescue.

The latest addition to Chelsea power take-off (PTO) range, the Chelsea 522, will be demonstrated.

This heavy duty air shift PTO delivers performance and reliability from a compact unit, is available for all major truck transmissions, and is suited to pulling, pushing or lifting applications, for example, tippers, skip loaders, tankers, cranes, multi-purpose vehicles and fire appliances.

Parker will also be demonstrating industrial hose products.

The CNG, Airbrake Autogas, Carburite 10 and Radior 3 have been designed for automotive air brake, cooling and heating systems in addition to the delivery of fuel oils, petrol, LPG and CNG, with hoses complying to international standards such as DIN 74310 and EN E67/110.

The firm will be showing tube fittings and quick couplings, plus demonstrating its latest orbital flaring machine, the Parflange 1050, developed for low cost production in the manufacture of hydraulic tubes for use with Parker's O- Lok and Triple-Lok connections.

On show from the pneumatics range will be the latest axle lift control system.

This fully integrated, modular unit is for lift axle control on multi-axle vehicles with air suspension and conforms to the Road Traffic Act 1988 Regulation 2000 numbers five and six.

The system is fully automatic, lowering the lift axle once the preset load is reached and automatically raising it when the load is sufficiently reduced.

Suitable for use in tough conditions, Viking Xtreme valves are robust, versatile and combine high performance with compact installation dimensions.

They have been developed for use in commercial vehicle applications.

Featuring high flow capacities and short change-over times, they can operate down to -40C.

Also on show from Parker Filtration will be the Racor 400 spin-on fuel filters with heated head, with features including a PTC (positive temperature coefficient) heater, which self regulates the power it draws depending on temperature and flow, meaning that when there is no fuel flow the heater will safely power down, increasing safety.

The heated filter reduces the likelihood of system failure by warming the fuel before filtering.

It can increase the service life of a vehicle, as well as increase final fuel cleanliness at the injector by more than 10 times.

The all-in-one, lightweight design of the firm's copolymer hydraulic reservoir tank means that almost any specific design requirement can be met as each tank can be custom made in terms of shape, dimensions and integrated functions.

The tank can be equipped with a tank top mounted return line filter and breather with all filters and air breathers featuring the environmentally friendly Leif media.

Designed to detect and analyse the dielectric constant of oil, Oilcheck from Parker Filtration is a portable, hand-held monitoring device for use by fleet owners, garages and DIY mechanics.

Used as a regular service monitoring instrument, the fully automatic Oilcheck advises when oil needs changing and advises engineers of an impending engine failure. Request free introductory details about products from Parker Hannifin ...
