Parker Hannifin has launched two communications option cards for its AC890 modular systems drive and AC890PX high-power modular drive.
Designed to extend the functionality and performance of the AC890 range, the Ethernet/IP and Modbus/TCP cards allow users to choose from seven industry standard protocols, enabling the AC890 to be integrated into a wider range of systems and networks.
The cards are compatible with AC890 firmware version 3.2 and later and are easily installed by plugging them into an option slot on the AC890 drive and configuring them with DSE Lite software.
Existing users can also take advantage of the new communications options by upgrading their drives with the current firmware.
