Nitrogen generators get first showing in Abu Dhabi

Domnick Hunter will display a number of products and debut its Maxigas nitrogen generators at the 12th Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference.
The 12th Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) takes place from 5th to 8th November 2006.
The exhibition attracts hundreds of exhibitors displaying the latest product innovations and new technologies.
Domnick Hunter, specialist in compressed air filtration and nitrogen gas generation solutions, will display a number of products (Hall B, Stand 4115) including high performance breathing air purifiers, Oil-X Evolution compressed air filters, Pneudri compressed air dryers and Maxigas nitrogen generators.
It will be the first ever showing of the all new Maxigas system which was officially launched this October.
The new system gives even greater levels of performance and reliability.
Breathing air purifiers remove water vapour, oil mist, particulate and odour to give a safe source of breathable air.
Oil-X Evolution removes particulate, and Pneudri desiccant dryers remove moisture from compressed air.
Oil-X Evolution filters are alocrom and dry powder epoxy coated for corrosion protection in harsh conditions.
Maxigas produces quality nitrogen gas from normal compressed air using highly reliable pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology to separate nitrogen molecules from the air.
Nitrogen is available on-demand and is a much safer option than costly high-pressure cylinders.
Nitrogen gas is widely used onshore and offshore for a variety of applications including blanketing as part of an explosion prevention system, gas lift for increased recovery and to displace existing gases during commissioning/decommissioning projects.
Domnick Hunter is an experienced supplier to the oil and gas industry, working with specifiers to create fully bespoke systems including skid mounted products that provide a plug and play solution.
Nitrogen systems can be containerised for full mobility as recovery projects develop.
Containers also allow for comprehensive environmental control systems that cope with extreme conditions.
During the conference over 170 world-class speakers will address key issues including the role of gas production in the future energy balance.
