Domnick Hunter offers a range of nitrogen gas generators that ideally suit laser applications including assist gas and beam purge.
The benefits of nitrogen are well known including increased productivity through higher cutting speeds, clean cut edges that require less material handling and oxide-free cuts for improved corrosion resistance and coating adhesion.
Nitrogen is suitable for stainless steel and high alloyed steels The Domnick Hunter range of Maxigas nitrogen gas generators offer many advantages over traditional methods of supply including reduced downtime with an on-demand supply and cost savings of up to 90%.
It now runs off a smaller compressor for extra energy savings of up to 20% and achieves outlet pressures up to 16bar without a booster.

The laser cutting open day will be held in Rugby on 6th December 2006.
The purpose of the open day is to show the benefits and savings that can be achieved by using Maxigas over traditional methods of supply.
Visitors will be able to see a live demonstration using Maxigas nitrogen, the effects of different pressures and purities, resulting edge quality and finish.
There will also be the opportunity to ask questions regarding specific applications.
Visitors that have a particular component that they would like to see being cut should send the relevant dxf.
