Parker Life Sciences offers OEMs rapid prototypes for complex or densely populated pneumatic assemblies at significant cost savings over traditional aluminium or acrylic machining methods.

Using formed and bonded plastic layers created through a proprietary cast urethane process, Parker engineers can build manifolds that accommodate irregular boundary forms and shapes and offer OEMs a high range of freedom with the z-axis.
This process also allows Parker to create manifolds with integrated accessories such as valves, fittings, pumps, reservoirs, and accumulators, while optimising fluid pathways for flow and preventing potential leaks.
"The most significant aspect about having a rapid prototype in days rather than weeks is that companies can begin characterising pneumatic response, flow, and performance very early in the design cycle", says Robert Howard, Sales and Marketing Manager for Parker Life Sciences.

Beginning with a detailed pneumatic schematic, Parker develops the drawings, prototypes and production assemblies to create manifolds that meet stringent packaging constraints and performance requirements.
