In April 2006, Jochen Nigge will assume overall responsibility for sales and marketing of Parker's European Seal Group.
In April 2006, Jochen Nigge will assume overall responsibility for sales and marketing of Parker's European Seal Group.
He will succeed Thomas Patzak who is leaving the company after six successful years.
Nigge started his career with the Parker Seal Group in 1984 as a commercial apprentice and subsequently earned a degree in business administration.
After serving in an inside sales position for a few years, he was promoted to the position of a Market Unit Manager for Intercompany and Distributor sales.
After this assignment, he served as Operations Manager of the Parker Packing Division's plant in the Czech Republic.
He was responsible for developing the Czech manufacturing operations as well as the construction project of the new manufacturing plant in 1999.
Most recently, he served in the position of Regional Sales Manager for Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark and the Netherlands).
In his new assignment, Nigge will have all the Seal Group sales regions in Europe reporting to him as well as the marketing communication function for the Group.
Additionally, the industrial service centre in Bietigheim, and the automotive service centre in Pleidelsheim will report to him.
