CPI, Composite Products of Winona, Minnesota has become licensed by PlastiComp to employ the patented Pushtrusion technology in its moulding operations.

CPI, Composite Products of Winona, Minnesota has become licensed by PlastiComp to employ the patented Pushtrusion technology in its moulding operations.

CPI is a leading moulder of composite materials and will use the Pushtrusion technology to injection mould long glass fibre reinforced parts for structural applications.

According to Charles Weber, CPI CEO: "The Pushtrusion technology enables us to utilise direct inline compounding on our injection moulding machines which will reduce manufacturing costs and maintain or improve finished product performance".

Weber added: "This licence is another step in growing the operating relationship between our companies".

PlastiComp CEO, Steve Bowen added: "CPI is an excellent moulder and a real innovator in our industry".
