Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 4, 2007

Pacamor Kubar Bearings' miniature and instrument ball bearing product line has received new approvals for the aerospace industry.

Pacamor Kubar Bearings has received Federal Aviation Administration Technical Standard Authorisation for its miniature and instrument ball bearing product line.

PKB has also received the AS9100:2004 and ISO9001:2000 quality certifications.

Customer shipments will begin immediately.

"Achieving FAA certification is a tremendous accomplishment for our team", said Edward Osta, PKB's Senior Vice President.

"We are immensely proud that we have successfully achieved both technical design approval and production manufacturing approval in such a short period of time".

"This accomplishment speaks volumes about the quality and pedigree of our team, our products, and our company".

The AS9100 standard specifies the quality management system requirements for suppliers to the Aerospace Industry.

This standard supplements ISO9001 by addressing the specific additional expectations of the aerospace industry.
