Pavilion Technologies is to participate in the Intercem China 2004 cement conference, one of the largest cement conferences worldwide with 800 delegates expected.

Participation in the conference builds on the Pavilion's commitment to the international cement industry.

Pavilion's Steve McGarel and Quinn Yu will present a case study describing how advanced process control (APC) technologies can boost production at leading cement plants and meet growing cement shortages due to major construction projects from rural dams to urban skyscrapers.

In addition, Pavilion's presentation will describe how leading manufacturers have also reduced energy consumption per tonne by 4%, cut NOx emissions by as much as 20%, and enhanced product quality and consistency by 30-50%.

"Our participation in this event underscores Pavilion's commitment to the Chinese market and will highlight our continued success in meeting the needs of the cement industry", said Pavilion Technologies President Ralph Carter.

"For years we have acknowledged the importance of the Chinese market".

"Our emphasis on this region continues to grow, and we are happy to be involved with this important conference".

The Intercem China 2004 cement conference runs from 7th to 9th September 2004 at the Oriental Riverside Hotel, Shanghai International Convention Centre Shanghai, China.
