Pavilion Technologies has secured four additional customers for its ethanol APC product.

Pavilion Technologies has secured four additional customers for its ethanol APC product.

Adkins Energy, Badger State Ethanol and East Kansas Agri-Energy will deploy the control product to increase productivity and efficiency.

More than 14 ethanol manufacturers use Pavilion products to achieve emissions compliance, reduce energy costs, increase ethanol production and enhance product yields.

"In just a year, we've seen an excellent return on investment from Pavilion," said Glacial Lakes Energy Plant Manager David Culver.

"Pavilion enables us to control the distillation columns and molecular sieves processes, which are challenging to manage optimally and yet critical to achieve our operating objectives - more, high quality ethanol for less".

The Pavilion 8 software combines predictive and dynamic control capabilities which allow manufacturers to control more effectively complex processes in the production of ethanol.

Manufacturers can improve the performance of the dryer, evaporator, thermal oxidiser, mole sieve distillation and other stages of the production cycle.

Pavilion Technologies CEO, Ralph Carter, said: "Most customers report a payback in two to six months on projects completed in eight to 16 weeks".
