Pavilion Technologies appoints Tata Consultancy Services as worldwide distributor for manufacturing products.
Tata Consultancy Services is to distribute Pavilion Technologies' manufacturing products worldwide.
Pavilion's products include process modelling, control and optimisation technology.
Tata has domain expertise, system integration capabilities and global reach, including more than 50,000 consultants and engineers in 34 countries.
"We selected Pavilion to be our manufacturing partner due to its strong process optimisation and advanced analytic capabilities combined with its proven track record of customer success," said Shripad Lale, Practice Director at Tata .
"As the gap between enterprise planning and manufacturing operations narrows, our customers' goals for achieving true adaptive manufacturing hinge on our ability to provide cutting-edge predictive analytics and real-time control capabilities".
The deal also includes collaborative research and development in emerging manufacturing markets such as predictive performance management, model-based integration of planning and manufacturing processes and the Pat process analytical technology initiative in the pharmaceutical industry.
