Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Nov 22, 2005

The CV60 vehicle mount computer is a rugged device designed for real time data collection applications.

Paragon Data Systems offers the CV60 vehicle mount computer, from Intermec Technologies.

With cast magnesium housing, the CV60 is a rugged computer designed for real time data collection applications, using either a vehicle or stationary mount, in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and transportation environments.

By integrating native Bluetooth technology, users have fewer accessories to install, fewer cables to contend with and minimal tethered wires to get in the way.

This streamlined design eliminates costly cable replacement and improves user satisfaction by providing the opportunity to operate devices, such as scanners and mobile printers, in any area around the CV60.

Additionally, the CV60's modular design allows users to quickly swap-out hard drives and personnel are able to upgrade hardware quickly and efficiently on-site.

The CV60 is equipped with an Intel P-III ultra low power 800MHz processor and offers a choice of Microsoft Windows CE or XP operating systems.

A large, easy to view, colour screen with optional touch screen can support any Windows applications.
