Versatile test instruments answer all safety requirements Extensive parameter selection allows the Sefelec MG Series of safety test instruments, now available in the UK from Cropico, to respond to all

Higher specification with bigger power and performance is packed into a smaller footprint by the latest version AutoLog AL20 PLC, mounted on a PCB of just 177 x 108 x 35mm suitable for panel or DIN mounting This low-cost OEM controller has a high density of analogue and digital I/Os, configured by the user in terms of numbers and A/D mix so that one unit suits all machine building and system design requirements

Up to 8 analogue or 28 digital inputs and 2 analogue or 12 digital outputs can be set, not all together but in desired combinations.

There are eight PID controllers and all controller parameters can be changed by means of the program, which is claimed to be a rare feature in such a low-cost unit.

Programming is by PC, with ladder and a versatile instruction language.

On-line programming allows any changes to be made while the system is running and without having to stop the PLC.

A large memory holds 8000 standard program lines and 260 different programme instructions may be entered.

An RS232/485 serial interface is standard and a second RS232 port is optional.

Communication protocol available is Modbus set as master or slave and an additional feature is GSM/TETRA/radio modem connectivity.
