Design flexibility for OEMs to meet the specific requirements of all operator interface and machine control applications is provided by the CTC Interact Version 6 HMI software package now available from PBE Systems.
Combining the ease of use of a Windows development system with the high reliability of DOS in run-time, it operates on any PC or PC-based machine interface.
Device drivers for most PLCs and control equipment are included in the standard package.
Applications are built up using a family of modules ranging from a library of 3D panel tools, graphics monitoring and trending to recipe handling, data transfer, report generation and machine configuration.
Optional modules can be added at any time to meet future needs.
As well as on-screen menus and on-line help, a tag editor simplifies both standard application design and adaptation to new machine control requirements, while user-friendly monitoring and alarm functions make life easier for operators.
An event-driven kernel gives reliable high-speed program execution.
'Network aware' software simplifies centralisation of applications and/or program files on a network saver.
Multiple Interact applications can be transferred throughout a facility or remote locations, and real-time data may be shared between factory floor locations or sent directly from the plant to MIS or supervisory stations.
