A complete yet highly flexible solution to high-end machine and line control requirements, with open platform capabilities, is provided by the CTC P9 PowerStation combined PC and operator interface available from PBE Systems bundled with the equally versatile 'feature-rich' and intuitive Interact HMI software package.
Two hinged rear sections simply open wide as easily as a book for snap configuration, upgrades and customising plus the simplest possible trouble-shooting and servicing without the need for so much as a screwdriver.
A complete self-monitoring system including an independent microcontroller to monitor the main processor ensures the highest reliability and eliminates unexpected shutdowns.
There is a choice of 12in or 15in long-life LCD touchscreen monitors, solid-state FLASH or hard drive memory storage and Celeron or Pentium II processor.
Three RS232 serial ports, an RS232/422/485 serial port, two USB ports, one parallel port and 10/100 base-T Ethernet ports give high connectivity.
Interact software offers the ease of use of a Windows environment with the reliability of DOS at run-time, while its event-driven kernel assures reliable high-speed program execution.
A tag editor simplifies designing a standard application and adaptation to new machine requirements.
It can be tailored to the needs of any HMI project by selecting from a complete family of modules ranging from 3D panel tools to trending, networking and machine configuration.
