The Advantech WebOIT system of operator interface with bundled browser software package being introduced in the UK by PBE Systems integrates HMI graphics and PLC connectivity with web server technology, allowing machine and process data to be received in real-time from across a plant or any remote location with a simple internet connection.

Significant cost-savings and operational advantages are offered by the fact that after installing the initial WebOIT industrial terminal, at little more cost than an ordinary shopfloor quality HMI, as many further HMIs as required can be added to the system at other locations without having to pay for any additional run-time licences.

Any PLCs or other controllers can be interfaced, with over 140 drivers available, in either wired or wireless format.

Data once only obtained from the operator terminal can be accessed from any location, with both reading and writing capability.

Display information, security, data entry and real-time integration are combined into this powerful, portable control system.

It enables users to monitor production, trouble-shoot processes and diagnose equipment regardless of their location from any PC.

Easy-to-use drawing and animation tools allow rapid development of HMI representations of a manufacturing process.

Drawings, operating procedures and quality reporting can be combined directly into the operator displays.
