The Advantech WebLink-2059 eAutomation solution platform from PBE Systems comprises a series of powerful embedded and web-enabled products with Pentium-grade processors that connect data devices with enterprise systems.

Using Microsoft Windows CE software and compact flash storage, it offers a high reliability platform for industrial automation, with no risk of hard disk crashes, and 'unfailing' performance of time-sensitive tasks with deterministic responses to events.

Real-time data is automatically captured from the plant floor by the system, which then analyses, controls and distributes this information to enterprise systems via the Internet.

HMI/SCADA software and HTTP v1.10 compliant web server gives easy access to data through graphic interfaces and control of I/O data from any location at any time.

Powerful I/O connectivity, with four RS-232/485 ports and industrial standard OPC server, simplifies acquiring data through sources ranging from the company's ADAM distributed DA and C system to versatile rich legacy controllers and third party I/Os, including A-B, Mitsubishi, Omron and Modbus RTU/Ethernet PLCs and Profibus DP compliant devices.

WebLink can broadcast alarms or notify key people of an emergency via email.

The system can then be accessed and problems diagnosed immediately through any browser.

Two USB ports and a PC Card slot allow easy addition of peripherals such as storage devices and modems, and a wireless LAN solution is also available to empower networking flexibility.
