Permabond Polyolefin Primer (POP) is an ideal surface pretreatment to improve plastics bonding performance.

Permabond Polyolefin Primer (POP) is an ideal surface pretreatment to improve plastics bonding performance.

Following treatment, Permabond Cyanoacrylate adhesive bonds polypropylene and polyethylene so well, that when pulled apart in tensile tests, the plastic breaks, not the bond.

This pre-treatment is an ideal alternative to flame, corona or plasma surface treatment methods and offers enormous cost savings.

Permabond Polyolefin Primer also works well on silicone rubber and PTFE, and is now available in new, easy to use 50ml bottles with brush as well as in 500ml and 1 litre bulk containers.
