PCL'S Partnership with Tora Petrol Triples Sales

PCL, has announced that its partnership with Tora Petrol has increased its market share in the petrol forecourt market in Turkey from less than 15% to over 80% of the market.
PCL is a world leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of high quality tyre inflation equipment and air distribution technology - yet prior to its alliance with Tora, sales in Turkey were not representative of PCL's success in other countries.
The appointment of Tora Petrol, a well-known and highly respected engineering and installation expert in Turkey, has enabled PCL to quickly intensify brand awareness and open up new opportunities.
Faith Akin, President of Tora Petrol, said: "When PCL contacted us, they were looking for a partner to help them increase sales in Turkey.
They couldn't understand how their products, the best in the market, were not as successful in Turkey as in the rest of the world and their share was just 10 to 15%.
"Tora has the best understanding of the Turkish petrol forecourt market thanks to our in-depth technical know-how, creativity and local awareness of customers.
As such we were the ideal partner to help PCL gain the market share it deserves due to the superb quality of its products.
" PCL needed to find a partner it could trust to make recommendations regarding changes to the products we felt were necessary to best meet the demands of the local market.
Once this trust was established we were able to work in harmony, share ideas and implement a common strategy.
"As a consequence we have exceeded all expectations and at the end of the first year of our partnership the market share has grown to over 80%.
We look forward to working with PCL in the future to further build upon this success." Tora deals solely with oil companies such as Shell, BP, Total, Opet, Sunpet, Turk Petrol and Ofisi, and has contracts to supply Shell, BP, Total, Opet and Sunpet with PCL's innovative tyre inflation equipment.
