High-reflectance coating is easy to
apply
WRC-680 is a high reflectance, matte white coating from Labsphere for applications covering the UV-VIS-NIR wavelength region and is suitable for application by the end user.
WRC-680 is a high reflectance, matte white coating from Labsphere (North Sutton, New Hampshire) for applications covering the UV-VIS-NIR wavelength region and is suitable for application by the end user This ready-mixed preparation is intended for customers with small-scale applications, or those who wish to prototype components using a high-reflectance white coating

The new EX5/500 excimer laser from GAM features an innovative all-metal/ceramic plasma tube that results in a gas fill that lasts up to ten times longer than traditional lasers.
This nonluminescent, nonspecular coating yields near-perfect Lambertain reflectance of between 95 and 98% over the wavelength region from 300 to 1200nm.
WRC-680 is ideal for use in integrating spheres, reflectance spectrophotometers, sphere photometers, lamp housings, uniform light sources for imager test and calibration, display backlight reflectors, optical components and any other applications that call for diffuse illumination or reflectance.
WRC-680 is a barium sulphate based formulation that is easily applied by means of an airless spray gun or, for small-scale use, using an airbrush.
The coating can be applied to most metal, plastic, and glass surfaces that have been properly cleaned and roughened.
Plastic surfaces may require special cleaning to remove any mould release agents that may interfere with the coating adhesion.
With an optimum coating thickness of 0.5 to 0.6mm, a 1-litre bottle will cover an approximate area of 2500cm2.
The coating is packaged in airtight, 1- and 2-litre containers, and Pro-Lite supplies comprehensive instructions for surface preparation and paint application.
In addition to the WRC-680 paint, Pro-Lite offers standard and customised integrating spheres and a service to coat customer-supplied parts in small and high quantities.
