Analyser provides real-time contamination results

A Particle Measuring Systems product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Apr 12, 2005

A novel POC analyser effectively and continuously monitors photochemical organic contamination, such as nonmethane hydrocarbons and siloxanes, and provides real-time contamination results.

Available from Particle Measuring Systems, the Molecular Analytics POC analyser effectively and continuously monitors photochemical organic contamination, such as nonmethane hydrocarbons and siloxanes, and provides real-time contamination results.

POCs have the potential of absorbing laser throughput, forming contamination layers on optical surfaces, or permanently degrading the optical system.

With detection limits in the low parts-per-billion range and providing high accuracy, the POC analyser can detect contamination before the contamination causes irreversible damage.

The POC analyser can be combined with molecular contamination analysers to monitor other compounds, such as ammonia, total amines, total acids or sulphur dioxide.

Because of the monitor's high stability, maintenance is infrequent and inexpensive.
