The P12000 series pressure sensor combines thin-film strain-gauge technology with a robust diaphragm construction makes it ideally suited to medium- to high-pressure applications.

Polaron Components has introduced the P12000 series high pressure sensor.

Its use of thin film strain gauge technology combined with a robust diaphragm construction makes it ideally suited to medium to high pressure applications such as hydraulic systems which are liable to experience large pressure spikes.

The sensor achieves an accuracy of better than +/-1% full scale pressure over a wide temperature range, and is available in pressure ranges from 5 to 700bar.

Standard outputs are 5V, 10V and 4-20mA, with others available on request.

The P12000 is priced to be affordable for small as well as large quantity requirements.

The model will be among those featured on Polaron Components' stand at the MTEC 2005 exhibition in Birmingham in February.
