Power Electronics International reckons it has answered the question: "When is somebody going to make a reliable vector drive that doesn't require a course in rocket science to use or install?" The company claims its Micro-speed Multi-Vector MV series AC variable speed drives for "no load brake" style hoists, are the finest hoist control systems available

Features include: Gang-Set instant programming; internal braking electronics (no expensive extra "modules" to purchase-resistors are external); no external interface cards to fail; and very robust hardware and software.

The Multi-Vector MV series is available now for new and retrofit hoists.
