Pedcat has upgraded its successful Pressure Equipment Directive analysis software PEDHelp.
Each seminar will cover all key aspects of the PED in detail including scope and exclusions, categorisation with numeric examples, ESRs, module choices, Q/A issues, materials, technical documentation, hazard analysis, assemblies, and more.
In addition there will be specific case studies, where products have been subjected to the full conformity assessment process.
The presenter will be Phil Waites IEng, MSOE, MIPlantE, MIIE Cert Ed, who has been delivering consultancy and training on this legislation since 1995.
Prior to 1995 he held various positions in the pressure equipment industry including - Director Fluid Power Training and Consultancy Services, Pressure Systems Consultant Engineer Tsing Ma bridge project Hong Kong, Pressure System Design Engineer, Plant Engineer and lecturer in pressure system design.
Each delegate will receive a copy of Pedcat's standard training manual, which covers the main areas of the directive and includes various case studies and flowcharts showing routes to conformity for a range of products.
All information will be presented to the highest standard using case studies, flowcharts and animations via a PC and LCD projector Pedcat is highly experienced in the organisation and delivery of this type of training and has successfully delivered over 40 such days across the EU attended by more than 600 satisfied delegates from all sectors of the pressure equipment industry.
