Flow control specialist Pegler and Louden has announced a major new contract with Simon Carves in Manchester to supply £350,000 worth of flow control packages to Devonport dockyard.

The important win follows 18 months of preparation and planning.

The initial order includes Worcester, Norbro, Thompson Valve and Westlock products with the first of the packages due for delivery in July or August.

It's a valuable win not only in revenue, but also because the rigorous product integrity testing required for any application involving nuclear power proved that Pegler and Louden products are more than suitable for this type of application.

"The contract is excellent news and could help us win further business on this project and indeed, on similar other projects nationally and internationally," comments marketing manager Jeremy Samuel.
