UK flow control and solution specialist FCx Pegler and Louden, has expanded its sales and distribution operation in the south with a new satellite facility in Enfield

One of the UK's leading flow control and solution specialists, Nottingham-based FCx Pegler and Louden, has expanded its sales and distribution operation in the south with a new satellite facility in Brimsdown, Enfield The new Enfield site opened on 1st February in response to increasing sales in the southern region

The facility will service FCx Pegler and Louden's client base in the South East, including major customers like Merck Sharpe and Dohme, Pfizer and SmithKline Beecham.

Despite the recent opening of the facility it has already received enquiries from major customers in the area that has led to a huge increase in sales.

Two Internal Sales Engineers, Ken Woolsey and Neil Adams, have also been appointed to handle enquiries and orders at the Enfield location.

They will also liase closely with the Area Sales Managers, Bob Cunningham and Keith King.

Work at Enfield is overseen by FCx Pegler and Louden's sales and distribution master outlet for the south, which is based in Newport.

Since opening in 1967, the centre has developed into a team of twelve sales and administrative personnel, headed by the Regional Director, Mike Wainwrght.

Mike commented: "Growth in sales for the region is continuously increasing and expansion of our customer base in the South East has been notable, hence the need for another facility in the south.

In the first ten days of Enfield 's operation sales have reached ?1/4 million, which is substantially higher than our target figure.

"There is huge potential for further business growth in the next two years for FCx Pegler and Louden in the South East.

With the establishment of Enfield we have created a localised service for many of our customers, a fact which has given us more credibility.

FCx Pegler and Louden has ensured its growth is sustainable by starting in a modest way and by introducing regional bases, like Enfield, gradually.

There is no doubt the potential for growth in other areas is huge." FCx Pegler and Louden has a comprehensive network of locations for sales and technical support.

Each area has a fully operational supply centre staffed by a team of experienced technical operatives.

All locations are linked via the latest IT systems to FCx Pegler and Louden's central distribution and engineering design centre at Nottingham, to ensure a rapid and effective supply service.

The Nottingham-based National Distribution Centre provides a central control and distribution resource for industrial customers nationwide.
