A free updated four-page product bulletin from PEM Fastening Systems profiles PEM self-clinching floating fasteners.

A free updated four-page product bulletin from PEM Fastening Systems profiles PEM self-clinching floating fasteners, which provide load-bearing threads in metal sheets as thin as 1mm and permit up to 0.8mm adjustment for mating hole misalignment.

Bulletin ALA profiles all four types of these steel or stainless-steel self-clinching floating fasteners, which feature locking and nonlocking threads.

The bulletin covers their available thread sizes, specifications, installation procedure, and performance data.

Installation of these self-clinching floating fasteners is fast and simple.

The fastener is squeezed into a punched or drilled hole using any standard press and becomes locked permanently in place with the sheet remaining flush on one side.

Extra strength and support in assembly is obtained by the threads of the floating nut extending fully into the retainer shank, which is a unique PEM feature.

Uniformity of locking torque is equivalent to NASM25027 specifications.
