Snap-Top all-metal standoff fasteners from PEM Fastening Systems are designed to attach and accurately space PC boards and subassemblies without using screws or other threaded fastening hardware.

Snap-Top all-metal standoff fasteners from PEM Fastening Systems are designed to attach and accurately space PC boards and subassemblies without using screws or other threaded fastening hardware On installation, PEM standoff fasteners use a spring action to hold PC boards and subassemblies securely, while allowing for quick attachment and removal of boards or panels with a simple snap-on/snap-off action and without the use of tools

PEM standoff fasteners can be installed in metal sheets or PC boards as thin as 1mm.

They become a permanent part of an assembly and eliminate the risk of circuitry damage that can occur when parts loosen and fall into components.

The product line includes Types SSA (aluminium), SSS (steel), and SSC (stainless steel) standoffs for clinching into metal sheets and Type KSSB (brass) standoffs for broaching into PC boards.

All PEM standoffs can be installed easily in sheets by squeezing them in a punched or drilled hole using a Pemserter press or other standard installation method.
