A free four-page product bulletin now available from PEM Fastening Systems profiles Pemhex self-locking self-clinching fasteners.

A free four-page product bulletin now available from PEM Fastening Systems profiles Pemhex self-locking self-clinching fasteners, which feature a nylon hexagonal element that provides a reusable, nonmetallic prevailing torque thread lock and prevents galling.

These fasteners can be installed permanently in metal sheets as thin as 1.5mm.

Their locking performance meets applicable NASM25027 standards.

The updated "Bulletin PL" covers specifications, installation procedure, and performance data for these steel (Type PL) and stainless steel (Type PLC) self-locking self-clinching fasteners, which are available in unified and metric thread sizes 4-40 through 10-32 and M3 through M5.

A trademarked blue nylon locking element identifies unified fasteners (black for metric fasteners).

These fasteners can be installed easily in a punched or drilled hole in a sheet by simply pressing them into place.

The fastener's strong knurled collar receives installation force and resists torque.
