Easy automation of small-screw insertion
The Stickscrew System for fast and accurate small-screw insertion now offers users the capability to fully automate the process of installing small screws in metal or plastic components
The PEM StickScrew system combines a lightweight air-powered driver and "sticks" of up to 110 serially connected hex-head screws in thread sizes 0-80 to 8-32 and M2 to M3.
Simply insert the stick in the driver, advance to the second screw, depress the lever, place the tip of the rotating screw in the hole, and the screw is driven home, twisting off cleanly from the stick when precise seating torque is reached.
The standard PEM StickScrew product line includes machine screws, thread-forming screws, and thread-cutting screws, and all are available in a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, brass, and aluminium.
Screws can be plated, black oxidised, or hardened and can be customised to meet application-specific demands.
Several compatible driver tools are available as part of the system.
