A complete line of PEM concealed-head self-clinching studs and standoffs can be mounted permanently in steel or aluminium sheets as thin as 1.6mm.
A complete line of PEM concealed-head self-clinching studs and standoffs can be mounted permanently in steel or aluminium sheets as thin as 1.6mm.
These stud and standoff fasteners promote flush assemblies due to their concealed-head capability, which enables the side of the sheet opposite installation to remain smooth and unaffected by the fastening process.
PEM self-clinching aluminium or stainless steel threaded studs are available in thread sizes 4-40 through 10-32 and M3 through M5 and in lengths from 6 to 25mm.
PEM self-clinching stainless-steel-threaded standoffs are offered in thread sizes 4-40 through 1/4-20 and M3 through M6 and in lengths from 4 to 25mm.
Sheet preparation requires only a blind milled hole to the recommended minimum depth.
Reliable installation can be performed using any standard press, including Pemserter precision presses, which are engineered exclusively for installing self-clinching fasteners.
On installation, the head of the fastener is locked securely in the milled blind hole and is able to handle substantial loads.
Mating hardware completes final attachment of components.
