A Penn Engineering product story

Keyhole self-clinching standoff fasteners enable PC boards or panels to be slipped quickly into place and then removed easily when needed simply by sliding the board sideways and lifting it off.

PEM Keyhole self-clinching standoff fasteners are designed to enable PC boards or panels to be slipped quickly into place and then removed easily when needed simply by sliding the board sideways and lifting it off.

No tools are required for the easy on/off operations.

Installed permanently for secure and reliable attachment, Keyhole standoffs promote quicker assembly and disassembly and can reduce the amount and types of loose hardware required in an application.

PEM Keyhole stainless-steel standoffs (Type SKC) can further prove useful for spacing or hanging replaceable components.

In these applications, several Keyhole standoffs typically are specified with one standard PEM threaded standoff, which accepts a screw to secure a board or component against any unwanted movement.

PEM Keyhole standoff fasteners are available in a wide range of unified and metric lengths for permanent installation in aluminium or steel sheets as thin as 1mm.

The fasteners can be installed easily using a Pemserter press or other standard method.
