PEM threaded access hardware featuring a patented "anti-cross-thread" design is profiled in a new product bulletin.

PEM threaded access hardware featuring a patented "anti-cross-thread" design is profiled in a new product bulletin available from PennEngineering Fastening Technologies.

By realising the benefits of self-aligning threads, PEM threaded access hardware with anti cross-thread design can help speed assembly and eliminate failures, repairs, scrap, downtime, and warranty service associated with thread damage.

New "Bulletin PFM" briefly reviews the technology and how it works to correct off-angle installations, align components, and easily slide through clogged internal threads.

Available types of panel fasteners featuring the anti-cross-thread design are identified; alternate fastener retainer mounting styles and standard and optional recesses are profiled; and illustrations and photos are included.

PEM threaded access hardware is ideal for attachment applications where subsequent access to an assembly will be necessary.

Captive screws keep parts to a minimum and intact.
