These fasteners are designed for use in "blind" attachment applications, where only one side of a panel is accessible for fastener installation.

They can provide strong permanent metal threads to accommodate mating hardware in metal or plastic sheets as thin as 0.25mm.

"Bulletin AE" provides an overview of fastener series, features, and benefits, as well as profiling individual types and outlining specs, installation procedure, and performance data.

Additional sections cover installation tools and custom hardware options.

With inaccessibility for fastener installation eliminated as an issue, Atlas aluminium, brass, steel or stainless-steel fasteners prove ideal for tubing and extrusion applications.

An added advantage is that during fastener installation, several thin sheets of dissimilar materials can be assembled and then final components can be attached.

This capability eliminates any need to perform spot welding or other secondary operations, saving production steps, time, and costs.

The Atlas brand product line includes SpinTite blind threaded inserts; SpinTite blind threaded studs (available with an anti cross-threading feature); MaxTite blind threaded inserts; and PlusTite blind threaded inserts.
