All online CAD drawings for the entire line of fastener products from PennEngineering Fastening Technologies can now be directly inserted into market-leading CAD systems.

No download or importing is necessary.

This new capability extends to the complete line of PEM self-clinching and broaching fasteners, Atlas blind threaded inserts, and SI threaded inserts.

The new tool allows designers to insert drawings directly into as many as 30 different CAD systems and versions, as well as enabling downloads into as many as 20 each 2D and 3D file formats.

The procedure is easy: simply select the part, press the button, and the geometry (2D or 3D) is immediately inserted into a design.

The online CAD library includes drawings of all types of: PEM self-clinching fasteners to provide permanent threads in thin metal sheets; PEM broaching fasteners to attach printed circuit boards and nonductile materials; Atlas SpinTite, MaxTite and Plus+Tite threaded inserts for use in "blind" attachment applications; and SI threaded metal inserts to enable removal and re-attachment of plastic components.
