PennEngineering is hosting two fastener technology open days which will be held at its Doncaster facility on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th October 2005.

The fastener technology open days have been developed to provide attending companies with a unique opportunity to utilise the knowledge and experience of the PennEngineering technical and sales staff; to assist in increasing productivity through PEM fasteners and Pemserter press technology, reducing manufacturing costs and understanding how the latest fastener developments can offer benefits to product designs.

The advantages of using PEM fasteners over other conventional methods will be explained, with live demonstrations of the latest Pemserter fastener installation machines.

Companies can challenge PennEngineering to solve their clinch fastener application problems by participating in PEM productivity workshops and PEM application clinics.

The open days will allow visitors to see the revolutionary ranges of new PEM product designs like the range of ReelFast surface mount fasteners.

Companies can also see and use the full range of new and existing Pemserter installation presses and discuss the benefits and features of these machines with Pemserter staff - such as the new QX automatic four position turret with dual feed and the in-die fastener feeding system for use in progression stamping presses.

The PennEngineering fastener technology open days are designed for all company personnel, including designers, buyers, engineers, production staff and quality.
