Digital panel indicators at very competitive price
Two new ranges of fully programmable, digital panel indicators from Penny and Giles Controls Ltd - offer high performance features at a very competitive price.
The SLS190 is a completely new design that has been engineered to provide volume production of OEM quantities on very short delivery.
The spokesman says stroke lengths from 25 to 350mm, in increments of 25mm, are held in stock and any configurable option should be available for despatch within five days from receipt of order.
The new design offers considerable benefits for system designers requiring analogue position feedback, whilst providing an affordable solution for large volume OEM customers.
It is readily interchangeable with the existing Penny & Giles HLP190 linear potentiometer, but can also be specified with a compact shaft option, which offers a dramatically reduced mounting dimension.
Sealing is a major benefit of the SLS190.
It features a moulded, one-piece rear bearing assembly with integral cable exit which, when used in conjunction with the shaft seal option provides sealing to IP66.
This, together with corrosion resistant rod end bearings allows it to be used in severe environments.
Other benefits include: a rotatable shaft with a mechanical stroke that is 4mm longer than the electrical stoke to simplify set up and installation; a removable front slider bearing housing for easy seal maintenance; reduced weight making it ideal for mobile applications; and CE approval.
Ordering options include a compact shaft, IP66 sealing, 10m cable and body clamp or flange mounting kits. Request a free brochure from Penny + Giles ...
