Penny & Giles Controls has introduced a new T-Bar joystick which is available for either analogue or digital operation The single-axis, 'put-and-stay' joystick has been developed for applications such as video effects units, remote control chest packs and materials handling equipment, where the combination of precise fingertip control, compact size and simplicity are important

The analogue T-Bar's conductive plastic track generates an signal proportional to the distance and direction over which the handle is moved.

It is available with a centre tap and dual (stereo) output.

The Digital T-Bar model incorporates a high quality optical incremental encoder that generates two channels of square waves in quadrature.

Data can be encoded by the host computer into movement in either direction.

The digital model also has a greater sweep angle and longer throw.

Both models are designed for use with an electronic controller.

They are noise-free and maintenance-free in operation and provide excellent performance with complete reliability.

Both can also be supplied with light or heavy 'feel' designed in. Request a free brochure from Penny + Giles ...
