The competitively priced SLS220 linear position sensor is suited to OEMs and process control applications where the accurate measurement of small deflections is required.

Penny + Giles has launched the new SLS220 range of linear position sensors.

Available with a 10 or 20mm stroke length, the spring-loaded low-weight sensor has been designed to meet global OEM demands for cost-effective and reliable high performance.

The competitively priced SLS220 is suited to OEMs and process control applications where the accurate measurement of small deflections is required.

The sensors have been well designed for easy production and as with the rest of the SLS range, the SLS220 can be supplied from stock or manufactured to order and despatched within three to five days.

For slightly longer applications up to 30mm stroke, the range could be extended, should customers require this.

The SLS220 is provided with a mounting flange to allow for easy installation, and the spring-loaded shaft is supplied with an M4 thread for attachment to a moving surface or to add a probe tip.

Using proven hybrid track technology the sensor negates most position sensing problems and provides a long life, stable and predictable output without the need for regular maintenance and recalibration.

Produced in high strength Nylatron, the SLS220 has high chemical resistance and the internal potentiometer assembly is sealed to IP66 for use in hostile environments.

All products are manufactured at Penny + Giles' ISO9001 certified facility for optimum product performance and reliability.
