UV cured adhesives are solvent-free, single-part products that offer near instantaneous curing on demand.

By using UV curing adhesives the use of ever-faster production processes is made possible.

UV adhesives are widely used where ultrafast curing is required for either bonding processes or potting and sealing applications.

Bondmaster has launched a comprehensive new range of UV light cured adhesives that incorporate recent innovations in UV polymer technology and the company's experience in manufacture of UV cured adhesives for the medical device industry.

The new Bondmaster UV range comprises 14 adhesives that have excellent adhesion to plastic, glass and metal.

Some formulations are highly flexible and are therefore ideal for bonding flexible plastics.

Other adhesives can be used to form thick films, which are required when sealing, coating or gasketing is being undertaken.

Adhesives that have unique and unusual features are also available, such as one which enables nontransparent surfaces to be joined.

The new range of UV curable adhesives offers a choice of viscosities which enables customers to choose an adhesive with the optimum application characteristics for their process.

This means the adhesive will possess just the right amount of flow and gap fill to optimise the production process without compromising the bond strength and durability needed to meet the required end product performance.
