Profil UK has appointed Duncan Edwards as Technical Sales and Support Engineer for Wales and the West of England.
Leading pierce fastening technology specialist, Profil UK has strengthened its sales and service team with the appointment of Duncan Edwards as the company's new Technical Sales and Support Engineer for Wales and the West of England.
Edwards brings more than 20 years hands-on electrical engineering, maintenance and plant management experience to the post.
In his new role, he will also draw on a wealth of machine control, quality assurance and product sales knowledge gained within the highly competitive UK automotive sector.

Born near Llanelli, Duncan Edwards gained a TEC Certificate in Electrical Engineering as part of his apprenticeship with Krupp Camford Pressings, then part of the Austin-Rover group.
He subsequently held electrical and electronic control posts at the automotive presswork manufacturer, before being appointed its Senior Laser Welding Engineer in 1998.
In this position, he project managed the installation of - and subsequently controlled all operational aspects of - a laser welding line capable of producing more than 500,000 assemblies per year.
In 2001, he took charge of the maintenance and repair of 40 light presses, three robotic press lines, 70 tandem presses and 11 progression/cut up lines within the company's press shop, with responsibilities for 26 staff.
A six sigma black belt, Edwards continues to live in Llanelli and lists DIY, golf, junior rugby coaching and reading among his leisure pursuits.
