Vibration monitor keeps watch
The Vibrotector is billed as the ideal vibration monitor for all machines which run under approximately constant operating conditions, such as fans, ventilators, pumps and electric motors.
For the diagnosis of complex vibration problems Vibxpert provides comprehensive analysis functions, such as order spectrum, cepstrum, orbit and coast down measurement.
Various cursor types, machine-specific frequency markers and an extensive bearing database are available for evaluation of the signals.
The evaluation of the measured values is carried out with the aid of colour LEDs that indicate if any of the selected broadband or narrowband limits are exceeded.
All collected machine data are stored on a CompactFlash card and transferred to the Omnitrend maintenance software for further evaluation, archiving and documentation.
Vibxpert has two analogue measurement channels for almost every type of sensor, a trigger input in addition to interfaces for Ethernet, USB and serial connection (RS232).
The robust housing (IP64) is delivered in a practical textile bag with carrying strap and storage compartment for the cable and sensors.
The basic Vibxpert version is a single-channel device, which can be upgraded to a two-channel device by a special password.
This does not require any changes to the hardware.
