The Thermotracker is a high precision measuring and logging system for temperature profiling.

The Thermotracker is a high precision measuring and logging system for temperature profiling, which is the process of recording and analysing the temperature of products in a conveyorised or batch manufacturing process.

The quality and reliability of the finished product depends upon the performance of the oven, furnace or kiln and its temperature profile.

Any slight variation from the ideal can indicate a process problem, which could result in unacceptable quality.

There are three clear areas that could benefit from routine temperature profiling: control of product quality; increase in productivity; and minimising fuel costs.

In its basic form the profile can tell users how hot their products become and for how long.

Every product will have its optimum profile that will produce the products highest quality and reliability.

Analysing the profile will give reliable data to help verify this, as well as prove compliance to manufacturing procedures and specifications.

Simple to use software provides extensive logging capability and profile analysis.

The analysis function includes maximum temperature, threshold temperature and slope analysis as well as the standard zoom capability.

Also users are able to input process information onto graphical data including zone set values, line speed, company name, product name, sensor name and location, and a photo image of the work piece.

All these data can be printed into a report format, saved to a data file for future reference or exported to a pure text file for spreadsheet analysis.

The Thermotracker package comprises a proven data profiler, a thermal shield barrier and control software providing comprehensive profile analysis.

The Thermotracker accepts eight thermocouple inputs and has the ability to measure temperatures up to 1350C.
