CD Automation has further extended its established range of thyristor power controllers by incorporating analogue input and heater break alarm to its solid state relay series.
CD Automation has further extended its established range of thyristor power controllers by incorporating analogue input and heater break alarm to its solid state relay series, available in the UK through Paragon Alliance.
The CD3000S range of solid state relays now comes with a choice of DC logic input, 110V/230V AC input or analogue 4-20mA or 0-10V DC inputs, with a supply voltage up to 600V and control of single phase loads up to 700A.
The addition of heater break alarm across the range provides the user with alarm and diagnostic information such as partial or total load failure and SSR failure (short circuit).
Specific models now have the added option of an internal current transformer, saving cabinet and DIN rail space.
With major applications in plastic injection and extrusion, ovens and furnaces, heating and air-conditioning, these units are designed to replace electromechanical power relays and contactors.
Key benefits include faster switching, no wear, quiet operation and no electrical interference.
The new CD3000S Series complements perfectly the complete range of thyristor power controllers, capable of accurately controlling a wide spectrum of electrical loads from simple single phase heaters up to complex high temperature-coefficient three phase loads.
The CD3000 series offers an extensive range of current ratings, will accept any standard industrial signal inputs and are compatible with virtually all industrial voltage supplies.
